TestAnyTime detects additional items within the OMR area (broken bubbles)

Issues:

• Encounter difficultly in defining OMR bubbles as the software detects additional items within the area (broken bubbles)
• Encounter inaccurate and wrong answers to the defined OMR bubbles, when forms are scanned

Causes:

1. The image quality is of low DPI (300 DPI is recommended)
2. The image format should be TIF (jpeg quality can cause broken bubbles)
3. The font used for the bubbles contains thin borders (causing broken bubbles)
4. The form maybe scanned in grayscale and not black and white (grayscale can cause broken bubbles)

Solution:

1. Users can rectify the causes 1 to 4 above to solve the issue (i.e. 300dpi, TIF format, thicker borders, and black and white)
2. Users may also fix this issue by holding down the shift button and highlighting/dragging boxes round the choices and thus preventing the system detecting broken choices.
